Basem Yousef, the Egyptian Satirist TV host appeared as guest of Jon Stewart on his popular political program The Daily Show on Thursday June 21st.

Basem appeared on TV sporting a beard for the first time and spoke to Stewart about the challenges he faced as the first political satirist host on Egyptian television.

Basem, originally a heart surgeon gone TV host,implicitly showed his support of the brotherhood an Islamist party racing for presidency in Egypt.
