Dubai Fitness Competition is in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed to raise awareness on the importance of exercise for staying healthy.

The qualifying circuit for the 'men's' category will begin with a 500 meter row. Including 30 hand release push ups, 30 air squats, 30 sit ups, 30 dumbbell jerks with 12 kilogram weights, the circuit will end with ten 10 meter shuttle runs. Apart from the 500 meter row, the contestants will be required to repeat the circuit three times.

The 'women's' qualifying circuit will also open with a 500 meter row. It will then include a circuit comprising 30 dumbbell chest presses with five kilogram weights, 30 air squats, 30 sit-ups, 30 dumbbell jerks with five kilogram weights and culminate with ten 10 meter shuttle runs. Furthermore, the circuit will be repeated thrice.

Praveen Bhatnagar, CEO, Hotels and Wellness, said: "The qualifying circuit for Dubai Fitness Competition has been designed to drive competitiveness. We want the competition to be a real challenge, yet at the same time not an impossible feat. We are confident that Dubai Fitness Competition will prove a thrilling event for participants."
