Egyptian actress Nermine El Fiqi reported that being in two series this coming Ramadan was not planned, it was a coincidence!
"Al Ittihad" reported that the actress wanted to do only one, but liked two projects this year as they were unique.
The first series is "Kan Ya Makan" (Once Upon a Time) scripted by Diaa Danash, directed by Khaled Bahgat and co-starring Kamal Abo Rayya, Essam Karika, Samy El Adl and Enas El Haggar.
El Fiqi reported the series tackles two stories, each is about 15 episodes. In the first she is a nurse for illegitimate abortions, and in the second she is a reporter on corruption cases.
The second series is a historical drama type titled "El Emam El Ghazali" and she plays the role of Hasnaa, the maid, who obliges to her master until she gets married.
The actress noted the series was scripted by Mohamed El Sayed, directed by Ibrahim El Shawady and co-stars Mohamed Riyad, Merna Waleed, Mahmoud El Gendy, Buthaina Rashwan, Fayza Kamal and Ashraf Abdel Ghafour.
Regarding the claim that she increased her wage, she stated: "I heard this a lot, but it's untrue, because I only increased it a little, compared to other actresses, and it's my right. Other actresses raised their wage to 10 million Egyptian Pounds".
Nermine also noted she has been away from the scene due to her mother facing a severe health crisis and also because she didn't find a suitable role.
