Syrian star Samo Zein has revealed he has Turkish heritage, during the launch of his album "El Ward El Ahmar" (Red Roses).
Samo told audiences in the party held at "Mazzika" company,the album producer, that the Sultanate part in the video clip of the main album song was his idea.
Adding: "I agreed with director Sherif Francis that we film it this way in Greece, but audiences didn't know I had Turkish roots that inspired this".
The singer noted the market is hungry for new projects and he asked his fans to buy his album and not download it from a pirated version online.
The album consists of nine songs, and he worked with many lyricists and composer such as: Tamer Hussein, Mohamed Hassan, Ahmed Hussein and Islam Zaki.
