Egyptian drama stars have been asking for skyrocket wages for Ramadan 2012.

The Egyptian Artists Association reported that Adel Emam and Mahmoud Abdel Aziz received 12 million Egyptian pounds for their roles in "Ferqet Nagi Attallah" (Nagi Attallah's Band) and "Bab El Khalq" (El Khalq Door) respectively.

Nour El Sherif received 8 million for his roles in "Arafa Bahr", same as Yehya El Fakharany in "El Khawaga Abdel Kader" (Abdel Kader the Foreigner.

Karim Abdel Aziz received 7 million for "El Horoub" (The Escape) like Mohamed Saad in "Shams El Ansari".

Ahmed El Sakka received 6 million for "El Khotot El Hamra" (Red Lines) while Yosra received 7 million for the series "Sharbat Loz" (Almond Juice).

Ghada Abdel Razek received 8 million for "Maa Sabq El Esrar" (With Determination), same as Elham Shahin for "Adeyet Maali El Wazeera" (The Minister's Issue).

Sherif Mounir received 5 million for his role in the series "El Safaa" (The Slap), while Hend Sabry received 4 million for "Vertigo".

Nabila Obeid received 6 million for "Keid El Nisa 2" (Women's Wrath 2) which is the same for Fifi Abdo's role in the same series.

Haifa Wahbe received 7 million for her role in "Moled wu Sahbo Ghayeb" (Feast Without its Host).
