Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab has been silent after news of her divorce from arranger Mohamed Mustafa spread.

Various media outlets reported the singer turned off her phone and refused to talk about the issue. The two have notable been married for five years and she had two girls; Mariam and Hana.

"33fan" website reported from close sources that the two will remain friends due to their children.

Sherine will travel soon to Dubai or Lebanon to enjoy a bit of relaxation away from questioning eyes.

The singer married the arranger a few years ago without a big wedding.

Sherine also worked with him on many songs such as "Ah ya Leil" (Oh, Night) which made her famous as "Kiteer Benaashak" (We Love A Lot) and her latest album "Esaal Alaya" (Ask About Me).
