Producers of the show "American Idol" revealed that singer Mariah Carey will take over Jennifer Lopez's judge panel spot when she leaves.

"People" website reported the singer left the judge panel spot after two seasons on the talent scouting show.

The diva Carey is lucky to over take the spot, and she received such offers, thus it would be a great deal for the producers.

Rocker Steven Tyler will also leave the show, which he described as "his lover".

Many names are nominated to take his spot, including Nicki Minaj, Adam Lambert and Fergie from the band "Black Eyed Peas".
