Egyptian actress Elham Shahin revealed she is anxious over Egypt in light of what she thinks is an attempt to win personal gains in the new government. The actress told "Al Rai" newspaper: "I'm very anxious over Egypt and I see many people struggling for their own benefits and not those of Egypt".

The actress noted those people don't care about the well being of Egyptians who paid dearly to get them to power. Elham added that an Arab country, which she didn't mention, is exploiting Egypt to remove it from the forefront of Arab politics and take its place.
