Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbe stated she was one of the few Arabs celebrities that began Twitter and now it is a culture widely spread. "Laha" magazine reported from Haifa: "I'm active on Twitter because it's useful and I think I started the Arabic twitter wave for celebrities. My tweets are instant and I don't have a certain type, I tweet before going on stage, or quotes that inspire me".
She denied that she tweeted about Elissa's last album "Asaad Wahda" (Happiest One) cover picture was depressing. Adding that she can't stop others about tweeting and mentioning her in the tweets. The singer revealed that she doesn't follow many tweets of other celebrities, because it wasn't created to engage with the scene, but with the fans. Haifa is surprised that some unfollow her if she doesn't follow them back. Regarding personal issues put on Twitter, she laughs at tweets saying someone is drinking juice or cooking.
