The Superman reboot movie has launched its first two official trailers for the prequel "Man of Steel."

Director Zack Snyder is re-imagining the good old super hero tale this time shockingly without the popular John Williams' score that was attached for a long time to the superman movie series.

Obviously Warner Bros. are seeking to detach the new revision from the old project with another grand composition by composer Howard Shore.

The trailers don't display any super hero tricks; it visits the emotional moments in Superman's early life with echoes from the messages left to him by both his fathers Jor-El played by Russel Crowe and Jonathan Kent played by Kevin Costner.

The new Superman movie is set for release next summer on June 14, 2013. It tells the story of a child sent to Earth from a dying planet and is adopted by a couple in rural Kansas. Posing as a journalist, he uses his super powers to protect earth from an sinister evil.

The film is directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan, director of The Dark Knight Rises, starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Russell Crowe.
