He told "MBC.net" the rumor was an April Fool's joke, especially that it was all over social media at the beginning of April.

George wondered what's the point of such rumors, especially that he is respectful of Muslims, and this kind of rumor is harmful. The presenter is aware of the culture he is in, and is constantly showing a moderate view of both religions adobted by his fans.
