According to Asala's brother and rep Anas Nasry, his sister has already filmed her part as a guets of honor in the upcoming series "Alf Laila w Laila" (One Thousand Nights).

The news comes amidst rumors that the production has been canceled, hut it was only postponed due the rise of costs and the deteriorating economical and political conditions in the region.

On another note Asala is getting ready to release her new music video "Rohy Wakhdani" (Taken by my Soul) which wrapped up two days ago. The lyrics are by Wael Tawfiq, music Ahmed Mohy, and the clip is directed by her husband Tareq El Erian.

The song was featured in Asala's latest album "Shakseya Aneeda" (Stubborn Character).
