The titles set to screen at Cannes Film Festival 2012 have been revealed at a press conference in Paris late Thursday morning April 19th by President Gilles Jacob and artistic Director Thierry Fremaux for the 65th edition on the French Riviera.
The list includes films from Directors David Cronenberg, Lee Daniels, Ken Loach and Michael Haneke.
Stars Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman and Marion Cotillard and Matthew McConaughey, who have featuring and competing projects in Cannes, will grace the red carpet this year.
The festival will also pay respect to Director Claude Miller, who was lost earlier this month, by showing his last film "Therese Desqueyroux" on closing night.
The festival chose iconic star Marilyn Monroe to crown its 2012 poster showing the star blowing out a candle on a birthday cake for the 65th anniversary of the fest.
