Producer Mohamed Mokhtar revealed his divorcee Rania Yousef was attacked by her ex-husband businessman Karim El Shabrawy and his mother.

He told "Al Arabiya" website that the two tried to break into her apartment and she called her father and Mokhtar to fend them off.

Rania's ex-husband was upset at her fate after her recent separation, since she paid of her ex-husband's freedom.

Mokhtar revealed he advised her against marrying El Shabrawy given his history. The man was involved in seven court cases and was in jail for three days and is chased by more than 39 cases of embezzlement.

Mokhtar added Rania was suffering silently, but when he was arrested in front of her she decided to make a move. The producer didn't reveal if the two will return to each other now.
