Lebanese star Elissa has quit as the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations program against malnutrition.
"33fan.com" reported the singer quit after she felt the organization wasn't supporting her in her role.
The singer asked the organization to organize more field visits to areas that have been affected recently in the Arab world, but this was not done, so she quit.
The singer was awarded the honorary title about a year ago.
The stare is preparing to release her new album produced by Rotana in June 2012.
Elissa worked with many lyricists, composer and arrangers including Ahmed Abdel Salam, poet Salama Ali, composer Mohamed Yehya, composer Mohamed Rahim and poets Ahmed Marzouk and Seham El Sha'sha.
