Mona Zaki in Donia Asia
Egyptian actress Mona Zaki left to Romania to shoot her scenes in the series "Donia Asia" (Asia's World).
Mona will be joined by actor Hany Adel who is flying from France to start a full week of shoots before heading to Taba, El Ain El Sokhna and El Fayoum.
The series is about a lady named Asia who loses her memory in a car accident and becomes a dancer as her life takes a complete turn.
The series is also starring Basem Samra, Maha Abu Auf, Sayed Ragab and written by Abbas Abul Hassan and directed by Mohamed Bakir.
Mona Zaki Answers to Fake Naked Photo
Egyptian actress, Mona Zaki, has been the victim of digital photo editing after a naked photo of her behind a shower curtain at a spa spread like fire online.
Husband actor Ahmed Helmy threatened to take whoever was responsible to court, after the release of a the real and fake image of his wife hit the cyber space.
Mona Zaki on her part reacted indifferently stating she trusts that her fans know her well to dismiss the allegations. Fans of the couple have responded positively as the picture was photoshopped.
Mona Zaki Comes Back to TV
Mona Zaki is returning to television after staying away for 6 years with the new series " Donia Qasya" (Hard Life). The series starts shooting mid January and is starring Basem Samra, posted Ofann.
"Donia Qasya " is directed by Mohamed Bekeer and written by Abas Abu Hassan. This is a production of Mona Zaki's husband actor Ahmed Helmy via his production Company Shadows.
The series will shoot in various cities including Cairo and London. The last time Mona appeared on TV was for the series " Cinderella" playing the late Soaad Hosny in 2006.
Mona Zaki Prepares for Al Qahira Makka
Egyptian actress Mona Zaki is in the final preparation stage for the new film "Al Qahira Makka" (Cairo, Mekka) with director Hani Khalifa, script writer Mohamed Ragaa and producer Waleed Sabri.
"Al Badeel" newspaper reported this is the comeback of the actress since 2009 when she was in the films "Ehki ya Shahrazad" (Tell us Shahrazad) and "Wilad El Amm" (Cousins). The actress has also recently finished the film "Aswar El Qamar" (Moon Fences) with Aser Yasin, Amr Saad and director Tarek El Aryan. The cast is not revealing much about the details, but it might resemble the film by director Hani Khalifa who directed the famous film "Sahar El Layali" (Insomnia) which Mona was also part of in 2003.

Mona Zaki Treats Blindness
Egyptian actress Mona Zaki refused wearing contact lenses in the blind scenes of her latest film "Aswar El Amar" (Moon Fences). She told "Al Arabiya" website that the film is a different step for her as she took on this role to diversity her usual roles.
The actress will portray how blind people live through this film, in which she loses her sight in an accident. The film is also starring Aser Yasin, Amr Saad and is directed by Tarek El Aryan and was scripted by Mohamed Hafzi.

Mona Zaki Denies Leaving Aswar El Amar
Egyptian actress Mona Zaki denied the rumor about leaving the film "Aswar El Amar" (Moon Fences) due to conflicts with Tarek El Aryan the director.
"Gn4me" website reported that Mona has been tackled by media lately, over an alleged feud with Tarek.
Mona reported she understands the hurdles in the film's production, and had to cancel projects for two years until she wraps up the film.
Al Aryan is preparing for the scenes including Aser Yasin, Amr Saad and he will begin filming in two days so it can be available this summer season 2012.
The story is about a girl who loses her sight in an accident and meets friends on a boat and memories flood back.
